Descriptions:
1. In accordance with the Ministry of Education's announcement No. 1112204712, on November 2, 2022, and the Central Epidemic Command Center's announcement on November 2, the number of days of isolation and self-initiated epidemic prevention for confirmed cases and close contacts will be adjusted. Other campus epidemic prevention measures remain unchanged. Please refer to the notice on October 13.
2. Starting from November 7, close contacts will be adjusted to 7 days of self-initiated epidemic prevention.
(1) The University faculty, staff and students, who are exempted from home isolation due to confirmed diagnosis of their family members living with them or roommates in the same dormitory, should implement 7 days of self-initiated epidemic prevention measures.
(2) During the self-initiated epidemic prevention period, you should not go to the University to attend classes or work if you have any symptoms.
(3) During the self-initiated epidemic prevention period, you may go to the University to attend classes or work if you have no symptoms and the rapid test result is negative within 2 days.
3. Starting from November 14, the confirmed cases will receive 5 days of care at home.
(1) 5+n days of isolation and self-health management will be implemented for confirmed cases who receive care at home.
(2) After they isolate for five days, confirmed cases may go out. If the rapid test result is positive, they are required to follow the rules of the self-health management (refer to the attachment). If the rapid test result is negative, they do not need to practice self-health management.
4. Residential students on Fusing Campus are governed separately in accordance with the "Guidelines for Epidemic Prevention and Management of COVID-19 in Colleges and Universities".

5. Students who are isolated during the period of confirmed diagnosis or during the period of self-initiated epidemic prevention for close contacts will be marked on the iLearn system for taking 7 days of courses online. If the student has no symptoms during the self-initiated epidemic prevention period and has a negative rapid test result within 2 days, he/she may go to the University to attend classes.
6. Instructors are encouraged to confirm the number of students and the list of students who take courses online on the iLearn system before the start of the class, and to improve the teaching preparation and give the necessary flexibility considering the students' situation (e.g., students who are not registered in time to take courses online due to the operation time gap for epidemic prevention notification, or students who have a negative rapid test result during the self-initiated epidemic prevention period may return to the University for attending the physical class).
7. The University's epidemic prevention leave regulations will be adjusted on a rolling basis in accordance with the announcement of the Ministry of Education.
8. All faculty, staff and students are asked to perform their self-health management responsibilities. When entering various venues, please wear masks in accordance with the regulations and avoid crowded places. Please wash your hands frequently or disinfect them with alcohol, and fill out the Self-Health Management System every day.
9. Please find attached the amended "Guidelines for Epidemic Prevention and Management of COVID-19 in Colleges and Universities".
