Feng Chia University's Research Rocket Takes Off Again, Successfully Launching Full-Scale Rocket

Feng Chia University's second research rocket has taken off! Today at 06:01, at the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) "Short-Term Research Sounding Rocket Launch Site" in Xuhai, Pingtung, Feng Chia University successfully launched its second single-stage hybrid small research rocket "SHSR-Aero2". The rocket has an average thrust of 1250N (Newton), burns for 12 seconds, with a total impulse of about 15000 Ns (Newton-seconds), a total flight time of about 75 seconds, and reaches a height of 6.4 kilometers, meeting the test targets.

Taiwan's First! Feng Chia University Partners with Fraunhofer Society to Establish Innovation Platform

Feng Chia University has been tirelessly promoting international cooperation and has collaborated with the Fraunhofer Institute for Surface Engineering and Thin Films (Fraunhofer IST) for nearly a decade. The platform was officially inaugurated today (28th), marking the first Fraunhofer FIP international innovation applied research organization in Taiwan.
